Every photograph holds a story—a fleeting moment, a quiet detail, or a place that leaves a lasting impression.
"Echoes of the World" brings together 50 photographic prints created throughout the Pocono Mountains and during Regina’s travels. The collection celebrates the beauty, connection, and unforgettable stories found in nature, wildlife, landscapes, changing light, and the world around us.
Regina’s journey as a photographer began with nature photography. Long before branching into portraiture and studio work, she found inspiration in slowing down, looking closely, and capturing the details that might otherwise pass unnoticed. This exhibition returns to those roots while reflecting the experiences, places, and moments that have continued to shape her work.
This page invites you to look beyond each finished photograph and discover the story behind it. Use the number beside each displayed print to find its matching photograph below, where you can learn more about the location, inspiration, and unexpected moments that helped bring each image to life.
Seagull Under the Pier
Year: 2019
Location: Atlantic City Beach | Atlantic City, NJ
Story: This photograph was taken on the final day of a beach trip to Atlantic City, New Jersey. I was simply walking beneath the pier with my camera, capturing the light, waves, and repeating wooden pillars as I went. I did not realize I had captured the seagull flying perfectly through the center of the frame until I looked back through the photographs later. It was an unexpected and beautifully timed moment—one of those unique captures that reminds me how some of the most memorable photographs happen when we least expect them.

Embracing the Storm- A Coastal Symphony
Year: 2024
Location: Sandy Hook Beach | Sandy Hook, NJ
Story: Sandy Hook Beach offers so many beautiful places to photograph, from the open shoreline to the quieter areas tucked away near the fishing spots. This was my first time exploring this particular part of the beach, and I was immediately drawn to the way the rocks created a strong natural foreground against the water.
In the distance, approaching storm clouds filled the sky with a beautiful, ominous mood and transformed the entire scene. Thankfully, the rain held off while I was there, giving me just enough time to preserve this dramatic moment before the weather changed.
Alone with the Tide
Year: 2026
Location: Sandy Hook Beach | Sandy Hook, NJ
Story: The view of the New York City skyline rising in the distance beyond the shoreline at Sandy Hook is one of my favorite sights. I was especially drawn to the solitude of the seagull standing quietly along the water’s edge, with the city appearing almost like a memory on the horizon.
To complement the quiet mood of the scene, I chose to edit the photograph with a sense of nostalgia, giving it the grain, softness, and timeless character of an image captured on film. The finished photograph feels like a moment from another time—peaceful, imperfect, and worth remembering.
Where Sea Meets Sky
Year: 2026
Location: Sunken Meadow State Park | Sunken Meadow, NY
Story: Sunken Meadow State Park is a hidden gem on Long Island. This photograph was captured in the late morning, just as low tide was beginning to end. I was standing on a sandbar that had emerged with the receding water, offering a view that would only exist for a little while.
I was drawn to the way the shoreline seemed to melt into the ocean and the soft horizon where the water and sky became almost indistinguishable. The scene feels dreamlike, as though it could gently whisk you away into the quiet of the sea. An hour later, the tide had returned and the sandbar had completely disappeared—a reminder that some moments in nature are only ours for an instant.
Mountain Laurel Morning
Year: 2025
Location: Big Pocono State Park | Tannersville, PA
Story: The view from Big Pocono State Park is truly incredible. From the mountaintop, you can look out across Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. During the summer, the landscape becomes even more beautiful as wildflowers fill the foreground and the changing sky creates a natural backdrop.
I captured this photograph while teaching an adult photography class at the park. Even when I am helping others discover new ways to see the world through their cameras, I never pass up an opportunity to take a photograph of my own. Sometimes inspiration appears right in the middle of sharing what you love with others.
Access By Foot Only
Year: 2019
Location: Tobyhanna State Park | Tobyhanna, PA
Story: The trails at Tobyhanna State Park are perfect for beginner and experienced hikers alike, offering peaceful paths and beautiful scenery around every turn. I captured this photograph during the height of the fall foliage season, when the landscape was filled with rich color and the forest felt completely transformed.
Autumn is one of the most beautiful times to explore the park, and I highly recommend visiting when the leaves are at their peak. It is the kind of place that encourages you to slow down, look around, and appreciate the beauty found along the journey.
Delaware Descent
Year: 2019
Location: Delaware Water Gap Recreation Beach | Delaware Water Gap, PA
Story: The Delaware Water Gap is filled with beautiful hidden places waiting to be discovered. One of my favorites is the small beach just off the highway, before crossing into New Jersey when traveling from Stroudsburg.
I was immediately drawn to the way the surrounding landscape naturally framed the scene. The boat resting perfectly within that frame became the final detail that brought the entire photograph together—one of those unexpected elements that turns a beautiful view into a complete story.
River's Heartbeat
Year: 2020
Location: Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area | Blakeslee, PA
Story: The summer of 2020 became a time for exploring the local trails and natural spaces around the Poconos. With outdoor activities encouraged during the COVID-19 pandemic, these peaceful places offered a welcome opportunity to step away, breathe deeply, and appreciate the beauty close to home.
This waterfall is located within the Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area and is one of the most scenic parts of the trail—with the possible exception of the hidden Christmas tree waiting to be discovered along the way. Together, these unexpected sights make the trail feel like a small adventure filled with stories of its own.
Bend Into Autumn
Year: 2020
Location: Grey Towers | Milford, PA
Story: Grey Towers, the former summer estate of James and Mary Pinchot, is a magnificent 44-room mansion inspired by the architecture of a French château. The estate is beautiful throughout the year, but it feels especially enchanting during autumn.
The quiet road leading to the mansion is secluded and serene, framed by trees and scattered with colorful fallen leaves. The journey toward Grey Towers becomes part of the experience, offering a peaceful glimpse into the timeless beauty and history waiting just beyond the trees.
Sunlit Meadows
Year: 2021
Location: Lakeland Orchard | Scott, PA
Story: Lakeland Orchard offers beautiful views that stretch across the surrounding countryside. I was especially drawn to this distant farm, perfectly positioned beyond the sunflower field as though it were part of a carefully arranged scene.
Each August, the sunflowers reach full bloom and fill the landscape with brilliant color. Paired with the quiet farm in the background, they create a warm late-summer view that feels peaceful, timeless, and unmistakably rural.
Tranquil Waterscape
Year: 2023
Location: Dingmans Falls | Dingmans Ferry, PA
Story: Dingmans Falls, located within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, has to be one of the easiest waterfalls—at least for me—to experience. With a peaceful boardwalk leading through the forest, it is a wonderful destination for inexperienced hikers who still want to enjoy an impressive natural view.
I captured this photograph during a spontaneous excursion to the falls. I did not have a tripod with me, so I leaned against the boardwalk railing to steady my camera and take the shot. It is a reminder that a meaningful photograph does not always require perfect planning or equipment—sometimes you simply work with what you have and preserve the moment in front of you.

Skyward Dreams Among the Trees
Year: 2023
Location: Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area | Blakeslee, PA
Story: I am always searching for unique angles and unexpected perspectives in nature. Near the entrance to the trail at the Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area, the trees stretch across so much of the landscape that it is easy to feel completely surrounded by the forest.
Looking upward revealed an entirely different view. The tall trunks seemed to reach endlessly toward the sky, while the canopy naturally framed the light above. It was a beautiful reminder that sometimes the most remarkable photographs appear when we pause, change our perspective, and simply look up.
A Blazing Sunset
Year: 2021
Location: Tobyhanna State Park | Tobyhanna, PA
Story: In 2021, smoke from the Canadian wildfires traveled into our area and transformed the sky into an intense shade of orange. Although this photograph was captured in the middle of the day, the unusual light made the scene appear as though it had been taken during golden hour. I titled it "A Blazing Sunset".
What I did not know at the time was that, on the very day I took this photograph, my future cat had just been born. Two months later, I would adopt a kitten named Blaze—whose name was eventually changed to Christopher. That unexpected connection gave the title an entirely new and personal meaning.
The photograph also enjoyed a few seconds of fame that day when it was featured on BRCTV 13 News during the weather report. What began as a record of an extraordinary sky became part of a much larger story—one I never could have anticipated when I pressed the shutter.

Awakening the Universe
Year: 2023
Location: Tobyhanna, PA
Story: Once again, smoke from the Canadian wildfires created an unexpectedly beautiful photographic moment. This image was captured in the middle of the day, when the smoke softened the sun’s brightness and revealed details that are not always visible.
I photographed the scene using my Sigma 150–600mm lens paired with a 2× teleconverter, giving me an effective reach of 300–1200mm. With that additional equipment, I was able to capture the sunspots across its surface—an uncommon detail that made an already extraordinary sky even more remarkable.
Golden Hues Behind the Glass
Year: 2018
Location: Tobyhanna, PA
Story: This photograph was captured with an iPhone while I was stopped at a traffic light on my way to work. The condensation covering the window transformed the rising sun, creating a soft, unexpected effect that immediately caught my attention.
There was no professional camera, special lens, or carefully planned setup—just an ordinary morning, a fleeting moment, and a creative eye ready to notice it. It is a reminder that meaningful photographs can be found anywhere when we take the time to look.
Crescent Moon at Sunset
Year: 2022
Location: Tobyhanna, PA
Story: Some photographs are “pull over the car and capture it” moments, and this was one of them. While driving home from a wedding, I noticed how beautifully the crescent moon—my favorite moon phase—rested above the landscape as the sun was setting. I knew I could not let the moment pass without preserving it.
Looking back, I feel especially fortunate that I stopped. Just one year later, the open view would be permanently changed by the construction of a warehouse. This photograph became more than a beautiful sunset; it preserved a landscape that no longer exists in quite the same way.

After the Storm
Year: 2026
Location: Tobyhanna, PA
Story: I never pass up an opportunity to send my drone into the sky. After an intense rainstorm, a beautiful rainbow appeared and lingered much longer than usual, giving me the perfect chance to capture the landscape from above, 358 feet to be exact!
As the colors of the sky continued to change, the rainbow remained steady over the trees and roadway. The combination of dramatic clouds, vibrant light, and that lasting arc of color created a scene that felt like nature’s reward after the storm.
Tranquil Twilight
Year: 2024
Location: Tobyhanna, PA
Story: This drone photograph was captured from a sunrise timelapse taken on my 35th birthday. I have always loved sunrises and sunsets because they carry so much symbolism—endings, beginnings, reflection, and the promise of another chapter.
Watching the sun rise above the mountains felt especially meaningful that morning. It marked the beginning of a new day and a new year of my life, preserved from a perspective only the drone could provide.
Moonrise Through the Tangle
Year: 2024
Location: Stroudsburg, PA
Story: There is something truly beautiful about watching the moon rise. Although the trees and power lines might normally be considered distractions, they became part of the scene, adding depth and a sense of place. Set against the darkness of the evening sky, the glowing full moon created a striking moment that was simply too beautiful not to capture.
Radiant Bloom
Year: 2024
Location: St. Luke's Anderson Campus Sunflower Field | Easton, PA
Story: Sunflowers have always been my favorite flower, so I never pass up an opportunity to photograph them. Their brilliant color and intricate details offer something new to discover each time I look through my camera.
I especially love this photograph because of its unique perspective. Rather than showing the entire bloom, the close composition draws attention to the textures, curves, and small imperfections within the petals—revealing a side of the sunflower that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Whisper of the Daisy
Year: 2020
Location: Tobyhanna, PA
Story: During 2020, I had more time to slow down, strengthen the techniques I had learned, and quite literally explore my own backyard. It became an opportunity to notice the small details and everyday beauty that can easily be overlooked.
A blooming daisy and a little practice with macro photography led to this image. What began as a simple exercise became a reminder that meaningful photographs do not always require traveling far—sometimes inspiration is growing right outside your door.
Standing in Her Own Light
Year: 2026
Location: St. Luke's Anderson Campus Sunflower Field | Easton, PA
Story: Pink cosmos are a beautiful and familiar sight throughout the sunflower field at the St. Luke’s Allentown Campus. I love the unexpected pop of pink they add among the surrounding greenery and golden blooms.
This single flower immediately caught my attention, standing gracefully on its own and proving that even within a field of sunflowers, something smaller can still create a beautiful story of its own.
The Enchanted Light of a Dandelion's Heart
Year: 2021
Location: Tobyhanna, PA
Story: Some people see a weed, I see a creative way to photograph the ordinary. When held against the sunlight, the delicate seeds of this dandelion puff reflected an unexpected iridescent glow, transforming something familiar into something almost magical.
This photograph was surprisingly challenging to capture because I had to hold the dandelion in one hand while taking the picture with the other. It took about six attempts before the light, focus, and composition came together—but the final image made the persistence worthwhile.
A Drop of Sunshine
Year: 2026
Location: St. Luke's Anderson Campus Sunflower Field | Easton, PA
Story: Early-morning walks through a sunflower field leave plenty of room for creativity. Fresh dew and lingering raindrops can transform the smallest details into something extraordinary. In this photograph, a single droplet resting delicately on a sunflower petal captured a reflection of the clouds above—a tiny piece of the sky held within a drop of water.
Bee's Bliss
Year: 2021
Location: Bethlehem, PA
Story: Bees are fascinating creatures. Despite the fear that sometimes surrounds them, they are rarely interested in us—they are simply focused on the flowers and the important work before them. Once, while photographing a bloom, I accidentally found myself in a bee’s path. It gently brushed against my face before continuing on its way, leaving behind only the brief sensation of its fuzzy body.
This photograph captures a small glimpse of the tireless work bees do every day. Their quiet presence is essential to the flowers we admire, the food we grow, and the health of our planet.

Tiny Traveler
Year: 2020
Location: ForEvergreen Nature Preserve | East Stroudsburg, PA
Story: This little ladybug was another unexpected discovery during a hike in the summer of 2020. Hidden among the grass, it could have easily gone unnoticed if I had not paused to look a little closer. Ladybugs are such tiny, charming creatures, and this accidental find became a sweet reminder that some of nature’s most delightful moments are found when we least expect them.

A Monarch's Pause
Year: 2026
Location: Tobyhanna, PA
Story: August may symbolize the end of summer and the beginning of a new school year, but for me, it also brings the return of monarch butterflies—a beautiful reminder that change can hold something special. In this photograph, a monarch rests upon the milkweed as warm, golden light touches its wings, capturing one of the quiet moments that makes August a little easier to welcome.
The Quiet Elegance of Vibrant Wings
Year: 2023
Location: Butterfly Conservatory | Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada
Story: I captured this photograph while visiting the Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara Falls, where guests can walk among hundreds of butterflies as they flutter freely through the tropical gardens. Being surrounded by them creates endless opportunities to observe and photograph their natural behavior.
This butterfly paused delicately on the edge of a leaf, allowing its vibrant orange wings to stand out against the soft greenery. It was a quiet, elegant moment that captured the beauty of experiencing these remarkable creatures up close.

Textures of Life
Year: 2021
Location: Tobyhanna, PA
Story: Nature’s smallest moments often reveal some of its most fascinating stories. While looking closely at the textures of the forest, I noticed these ants working together across the surface of a tree. What might have been easily overlooked became a glimpse into the complex and organized world beneath our feet.
Ants remove deceased members of their colony through a behavior called necrophoresis. They carry the bodies away from the nest and place them in a designated area, helping protect the colony from disease. This photograph captures that quiet act of survival—a reminder that even the smallest creatures play an important role in maintaining the delicate balance of life.
Nature's Crystal
Year: 2021
Location: Tobyhanna, PA
Story: This photograph was not the image I originally set out to create. I had planned to photograph frozen bubbles, but the idea simply was not working as I had imagined. Instead of putting my camera away, I turned my macro lens toward the freshly fallen snow.
Looking closely revealed the delicate shapes and intricate details of individual snowflakes—tiny works of art that could easily go unnoticed. What began as an unsuccessful experiment became an unexpected reminder that sometimes the most beautiful photographs are found when we allow our original plans to change.

The Face in the Tree Looking at Me
Year: 2014
Location: St. Anne's Church | Tobyhanna, PA
Story: Whenever someone sees this photograph, they immediately notice the face hidden within the tree. Its features were already visible when I first discovered it, but as the years passed and the tree continued to weather and change, the expression became even more defined.
It is one of those fascinating details in nature that feels almost intentional—a quiet face emerging from the bark, waiting to be noticed by anyone who takes the time to look closely.
A Squirrel Family's Forest Adventure
Year: 2020
Location: Tobyhanna, PA
Story: This squirrel family lived in a tree that I often passed while walking through my community. I became familiar with seeing them there, but this photograph captured a moment unlike any other.
Nothing about the scene was posed, and I did not wait for them to arrange themselves so perfectly—it simply happened. For one brief moment, the entire family gathered together and gave me a truly one-of-a-kind photograph. It is a wonderful reminder that some of the most memorable images come from being present and ready when nature creates the moment for you.

Onlooker
Year: 2025
Location: Tobyhanna, PA
Story: Squirrels are constantly moving, which makes their quiet moments especially meaningful to capture. This curious little visitor paused in the grass, standing perfectly still with its paws folded as though it were carefully observing everything happening around it.
For a brief moment, the roles seemed to reverse—instead of simply being photographed, the squirrel became the onlooker. Its alert expression and almost human-like pose transformed an ordinary wildlife encounter into a charming portrait filled with curiosity and personality.

Sentinel of the Canopy
Year: 2026
Location: Van Campen Glen | Hardwick Township, NJ
Story: I captured this photograph while hiking to a location for an engagement session. The trails can be challenging and may not be ideal for a beginner hiker, but the breathtaking scenery makes the journey worthwhile.
This heron was quietly moving throughout the area before settling among the branches. Its graceful presence felt perfectly at home within the surrounding greenery, creating an unexpected wildlife portrait along the way. It was a beautiful reminder that even when I am heading out to photograph one story, nature may have another waiting to be discovered.
Eucalyptus Embrace
Year: 2023
Location: Rosamond Gifford Zoo | Syracuse, NY
Story: I have always loved koalas, so when the Rosamond Gifford Zoo announced that it would be hosting one for the summer of 2023, I knew I had to make every effort to visit. On my way home from Niagara Falls, I took a special detour to the zoo for the chance to finally see one in person.
I arrived just after feeding time, so I did not get to see the koala in action. Instead, I found it peacefully asleep in the sweetest pose. Although it was not the lively moment I had imagined capturing, this quiet portrait became an adorable reminder that sometimes the most memorable photographs are the ones we never planned.
A Kiss From a Seal
Year: 2023
Location: Sandy Hook Beach | Sandy Hook, NJ
Story: Each year, seals migrate to the waters surrounding Sandy Hook, where they can be spotted along the coastline from November through April. Seeing them is never guaranteed, however. The timing of the tide, temperature, wind, and other conditions all influence whether they will come ashore to rest.
The best opportunity is often about two hours before low tide on a calm, milder day. During an early-March visit, the conditions came together perfectly, and I was fortunate to capture these two seals resting on the rocks. Moments like this make the patience and planning behind wildlife photography completely worthwhile.
Eyes of the Wilderness
Year: 2023
Location: Lakota Wolf Preserve | Columbia, NJ
Story: The Lakota Wolf Preserve offers private photography tours that provide an unforgettable opportunity to observe and photograph its wolves up close. I spent three hours exploring the preserve with a guide, learning about the wolves and patiently waiting for each moment to unfold.
The private experience allowed me to photograph without the distraction of a crowd. Special photography openings within the enclosure provided clear, unobstructed views, making it possible to create natural-looking portraits without the fencing appearing in the images. It was an incredible experience that allowed me to focus completely on the wolves—their expressions, movements, and remarkable presence.
Dance of the Hummingbird
Year: 2026
Location: Tobyhanna, PA
Story: A hummingbird was not the subject I originally intended to photograph that day—I had been focused on capturing a monarch butterfly. When the hummingbird suddenly entered the scene, the startled butterfly quickly flew away, leaving an entirely different moment in its place.
The unexpected interruption worked out beautifully, as I had never photographed a hummingbird before. Its brief visit gave me only a small window to capture the moment, making this image a wonderful reminder that nature does not always follow our plans—and sometimes offers us something even more special instead.
Mirror, Mirror
Year: 2018
Location: Tobyhanna, PA
Story: This was another one-of-a-kind moment that made me especially grateful to have my camera with me. I do not always bring it along when walking through my community, but on this particular day, something told me to take it—and I am so glad I did.
As I was walking and talking, I heard an unusual tapping sound nearby. When I looked toward the noise, I discovered a wild turkey pecking at its own reflection in the side of a truck. It was such an unexpected and amusing encounter—one of those once-in-a-lifetime scenes that proves the best photographs often appear when we least expect them.
Freedom Unbound
Year: 2021
Location: ForEvergreen Nature Preserve | East Stroudsburg, PA
Story: Bald eagles are a treasured sight at ForEvergreen Nature Preserve, although spotting one often requires patience and a little luck. During the spring, when eaglets are in the nest, the adult eagles become more active and can sometimes be seen traveling back and forth as they care for their young.
I captured this eagle in flight as it made its way back toward the nest. Witnessing such a powerful bird in its natural environment was an unforgettable experience—and an especially meaningful moment to photograph at the very place where this collection is now being displayed.
The Soulful Eye of a Horse
Year: 2024
Location: Pleasant Ridge Farm | Cresco, PA
Story: I have always loved horses, so when the Pocono Photo Club organized an excursion to the former Pleasant Ridge Farm, it felt like a dream opportunity. Although the farm has since closed, the experience remains a special photography memory.
Being able to observe the horses up close and photograph them in motion allowed me to capture both their quiet beauty and powerful energy. For someone who loves horses as much as I do, it was the perfect combination of a meaningful experience and an unforgettable day behind the camera.
The Silent Watcher
Year: 2021
Location: ForEvergreen Nature Preserve | East Stroudsburg, PA
Story: Wildlife often seems just as curious about us as we are about it. This Canada goose paused between bites of grass and looked directly toward my camera, appearing to carefully study the person standing on the other side of the lens.
The soft, muted background allows its watchful expression and the small pieces of grass around its beak to become the focus of the photograph. It is a simple moment filled with personality—a quiet encounter between photographer and subject in which we both seemed to be observing one another.
Ears to the Earth
Year: 2024
Location: Big Pocono State Park | Tannersville, PA
Story: I captured this photograph while teaching an adult photography class. As we explored the area and practiced different techniques, this rabbit appeared in the grass and offered the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the importance of remaining observant and prepared.
With its ears raised and attention fixed on the world around it, the rabbit paused just long enough for me to capture the moment. It became a wonderful real-life lesson for the class—and a reminder that nature often provides its own subjects when we slow down, look closely, and keep our cameras ready.
Silent Guardian of the Snowy Woods
Year: 2023
Location: Lakota Wolf Preserve | Columbia, NJ
Story: I captured this photograph during the same private photography tour at the Lakota Wolf Preserve. Spending several hours observing the wolves allowed me to photograph more than traditional portraits—it gave me the opportunity to capture their movements, personalities, and natural interactions with the wooded environment.
I especially love how this wolf is peeking from behind the trees, quietly watching before stepping into view. The surrounding trunks and patches of snow create a natural frame, adding a sense of mystery to the image. For a brief moment, it felt as though the wolf was allowing me a glimpse into its world while carefully observing mine.
Framed in Grace
Year: 2020
Location: Mount Airy Golf Club | Mount Pocono, PA
Story: The swans at Mount Airy Casino Resort are always a delight to see, bringing an unexpected sense of beauty and tranquility to the property. Their graceful movements across the water make even a brief visit to the pond feel special.
In this moment, the swan lifted its wings while standing in the shallow water, creating a beautiful display of movement and elegance. I photographed it through the surrounding trees, using the branches as a natural frame. The result feels like a quiet glimpse into a private moment—perfectly framed by nature.
Just One Lick
Year: 2022
Location: Roba Family Farm | North Abington Township, PA
Story: I captured this photograph while accompanying my students on a school field trip. Although the day was centered on learning and creating special memories with my class, I was glad to have my camera ready when this playful moment unfolded.
Watching the llama enjoy a taste from an ice cream cone was both unexpected and amusing. Its curious expression and eager reach made the scene impossible to resist. This photograph combines two parts of my life that mean so much to me—teaching and photography—and preserves one of those lighthearted moments that made the field trip especially memorable.
Songs of Summer's End
Year: 2026
Location: St. Luke's Anderson Campus Sunflower Field | Easton, PA
Story: Sunflower fields are filled with opportunities to capture more than the flowers themselves. As I watched the field, I was lucky enough to photograph this little bird just as it landed on top of one of the sunflowers.
The bird paused above the fading blooms, creating a quiet scene that seemed to capture the changing of the seasons. Its small silhouette against the open sky added life to the landscape and transformed an ordinary moment into something memorable—a gentle reminder that patience often allows nature to complete the photograph for you.
Commanding the Sky
Year: 2026
Location: Weatherly, PA
Story: I captured this photograph during a raptors and falcons photography workshop. Having the opportunity to see these incredible birds up close was an unforgettable experience, allowing me to appreciate the details, strength, and beauty that can be difficult to observe from a distance.
As this raptor spread its wings and moved through the air, I was able to freeze a moment filled with power and grace. Seeing its impressive wingspan, sharp talons, and focused expression so clearly made the experience especially meaningful—and offered a rare chance to photograph the commanding presence of a bird of prey in motion.
The Quiet Visitor
Year: 2026
Location: Tobyhanna, PA
Story: This rabbit is a regular visitor and has become a familiar presence around the yard. He is probably the friendliest wild rabbit I have ever encountered—I can pass within inches of him, and he rarely seems bothered or even flinches.
His calm nature has given me many opportunities to quietly observe and photograph him. In this image, the soft light and surrounding greenery create a peaceful portrait that perfectly reflects his gentle personality. What began as an occasional wildlife sighting has become a familiar encounter that I always look forward to.
The Enchanted Yellow Frog
Year: 2020
Location: Ross & Ross Nursery | Cresco, PA
Story: I captured this unexpected little subject during a trip to the nursery. Among the rows of plants and flowers, this brightly colored frog immediately caught my attention and offered a wonderful reminder that nature can appear in the most ordinary places.
Its striking golden-yellow color, wide eyes, and direct gaze gave it an almost enchanted quality—as though it had paused just long enough to pose for the camera. What began as a simple visit to the nursery became another memorable example of why I always try to remain observant and ready to capture the stories unfolding around me.
Thank you for taking the time to explore Echoes of the World and the stories behind these photographs. Each image represents a moment that inspired me to pause, look closer, and appreciate the beauty found in the world around us. I hope this collection encouraged you to do the same and that one of these stories stays with you long after your visit. Your support means more than you know, and I am truly grateful that you stopped by to experience this journey with me.
