Started in 2026, "From Studio to Shelter" is a monthly pet photography initiative created to celebrate the animals we love while giving back to those still waiting for their forever homes. Hosted by Studio R Photography, these sessions directly benefit AWSOM Animal Shelter, supporting their ongoing rescue, care, and advocacy efforts.


Sessions are complimentary and offered in exchange for a donation from AWSOM’s wish list. This allows families to receive professional pet portraits while making a meaningful impact for animals in need.


"From Studio to Shelter" sessions take place on the third Saturday of each month and feature seasonal themes, making each session both fun and meaningful. Whether you’re capturing a playful moment or a quiet connection, these sessions are designed to honor the bond you share with your pet—while helping support a cause close to our hearts.
